The new Hungarian Ambassador, dr. Gábor Tamás Nagy arrived in Wellington on 27 January. Thanks to the kind assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of New Zealand, the Governor-General and the New Zealand Government agreed to the appointment of the new Ambassador in a short time. As a result, yesterday he handed over a working copy of his credentials to the Chief of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jeremy Clarke-Watson.

The Ambassador will present the original credentials to Her Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand, Cindy Kiro at the end of January.

We wish dr. Gábor Tamás Nagy all the best for his work in New Zealand.
