NZSO and Hungary marks the 50th Anniversary of diplomatic relations and Hungary’s EU Presidency with great concerts in Wellington and Auckland!

Over the weekend, the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra (NZSO) presented Bartók’s Concerto for Orchestra as part of their concert in Wellington and Auckland. The Embassy of Hungary was glad to team up with NZSO in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with New Zealand, as well as Hungary’s EU Presidency. Concertgoers were able to see the “Mikrokosmos” exhibition on Béla Bartók’s life and works. In Wellington, the Embassy also showcased its new exhibition on „Visionary Hungarians” presenting ground-breaking Hungarian discoveries and outstanding inventions. A heartfelt thank you to NZSO, partners, and everyone who joined us to make these event memorable. We look forward bringing more cultural treasures to New Zealand in the future.
