The State Secretary's visit is a good example of the Hungarian government's commitment to the Hungarian communities living farthest from our country.

Hungarian State Secretary for Diaspora Issues, Árpád János Potápi has visited New Zealand between 20 and 15 February to meet the diaspora organizations in Christchurch and Auckland. The Embassy sincerely thanks the leaders of the Hungarian communities in both cities for putting together a full program for the State Secretary, and for their members for showing interest in the delegation. The visit well represents the keen interest of the Hungarian Government in supporting the diaspora wherever it lives. Next time, Wellington will also be included in the program!
