After the Nobel Prize in Medicine, the Nobel Prize in Physics is also won by a Hungarian scientist, Ferenc Krausz! Congratulations!

This year’s Nobel prize in Physics was awarded to Ferenc Krausz, Pierre Agostini and Anne L’Huillier for their discoveries in attosecond physics, which provide new tools for exploring the world of electrons inside atoms and molecules. In the history of the Nobel Prize, after 1994 this is the second time when two Hungarian scientists (Katalin Kariko and Ferenc Krausz) receive the Nobel Prize in the same year.
