This year, the Embassy of Hungary in Wellington commemorated the 1956 Hungarian Revolution and Freedom Fight at the Victoria University of Wellington

On 26th October, on the occasion of the 66th Anniversary of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution and Freedom Fight, the Hungarian Embassy in Wellington commemorated the National Day with an official ceremony, a Hungarian classical music concert and the exhibition of Hungarian nature photos provided by naturArt.

We thank our distinguished guests, members of Parliament, the representatives of New Zealand government and MFAT, members of the Diplomatic Corps in Wellington, the leadership of Victoria University of Wellington, as well as the leaders and representatives of the Hungarian community in New Zealand, all Friends of Hungary for joining us.
