On March 29, the local community together with members of the Embassy commemorated the events of the 1848-49 Hungarian Revolution and laid wreath of remembrance at the Hungarian Millennium Garden in Wellington. Archbishop Gábor Pintér, the Apostolic Nuncio and former Attorney General Chris Finlayson also attended the commemoration and the following lunch as guests of honor.
