We are proud that after a long time, citizenship ceremony took place again on 17th February, 2025 at the embassy in Wellington. Two of our compatriots from the Carpathian Basin took the citizenship oath in front of Ambassador Dr. Gábor Tamás Nagy. The new Hungarian citizens were greeted by Dr. Péter Szilágyi, Deputy State Secretary for Hungarian Communities Abroad at the Prime Minister’s Office.
